Delhi Darshan

CSIR SCIENCE CENTRE RECPETION
From the IGI airport we went to the CSIR science centre(VIGYAN KKENDRA) which is at located at K.K. Birla lane , Lodi Garden Gate no. 2.

The RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN
At 1730hrs we left by a taxi for Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. In the way I saw The "Rashtrapati bhawan" I saw big and large multi storied hotels on the way. Their end seed to be lost in the sky.

India Gate
Then we reached the Gurudwara. After our evening prayers. We went to the India Gate. Which is another alluring building in the national capital. The lights that lit up the whole building were doing their work accordingly. You need to leave your car in the parking and walk about 200 yards to the place. The encompassing parks are without lights so that main focus can be taken to the masterpiece.  The place enthusiastic with children playing with toys that were expectorating light. Some radio controlled cars which were on rent , so that kids could sit in them and enjoy. The cacophony was so that , here you you could barely listen to yourself.  After spending about an hour we returned to the guest house.
And then we retired to our beds to end the day after dinner.

11th JULY,2016

We were going from Chandigarh to Darjeeling and some nearby places. I had been planning this trip for about two and a half weeks. But didn't know that the planning would be smashed and gone in next few days.

So, we took a taxi to the Chandigarh int. airport (IXC) at about 11 am. We reached there in almost 25 minutes. The way to the airport was smooth and filled with greenery. Then came a stretch of land where construction had not been done lately and only a few houses could be seen. The land was so beautiful and plots neatly cut, this lead to arise of the thought in my head to buy a plot here and make a house here sometime.

We boarded the flight at 1340 hrs and the plane took off at about 1406 hrs. I love to sit at the window seat but as my ticket said I was to be seated a 11B which meant I had to sit in the center seat also as each one of you already knows that the flights to Delhi are already full. So Ihad to switch seats with my mom. And believe me that convincing my mom to get away from that window seat is a tough job, but finally managed to do that.

After the mandatory demonstration in both the Hindi and English languages by the AIR INDIA FLIGHT. The view outside was mesmerizing and breathtaking. Clouds seem to have their own F1 races as they were running haywire. Some were as dark as the night sky and some looked as soft as cotton. Some were more sleek that the Iphone 6 :) . And the one that looked so ordinary but some seconds later it was lit by sunlight. I could see sunlight reflecting from it and making it look like my bedlamp.

At 1450 hrs we reached Delhi.
The  pilot was T.P. Keshav.
